Kumari Plant Nursery

Kumari Plant Nursery is located in an ideal location in the southern part of Sri Lanka. Where it receives an average rainfall of 2147 mm and a average temperature is 27^oC and it is most suitable for growing tropical plants. Kumari Nursery is a wholesaler and retailer of Orchids, Anthuriums, Aglonemas and Other Plants. Nursery are located 1.5 km from Weligama town and 17.5 km from Matara away.

The nursery was started in 2011 and is gradually growing and currently cultivating 1000 sq.Ft. Orchid , 675 sq.Ft. Anthurium and 510 sq.Ft. Aglaonema are grown in Nethouse. Because it is located in the lowland wet zone, the plant receives good moisture and temperature. These plants are planted following eco-friendly farming practices. Anthurium,orchids are also grown as cut flowers and plants. Floriculture started small in 2011 and has been going on for 10 years now. Coal, coconut husks and tile cuttings as cultivation medium and well water is used for plant growth.

The nethouse is well maintained by family members. I also take careful attention to meet our buyers requirements in both quality and quantity. Prompt action is taken when there is a query as we do our maximum to fulfill my customers need.
